Rent, bills and repairs, settled in one place

Tenants see exactly what they owe and how every rupee was worked out. Owners run the month (readings, bills, payments and repairs) without spreadsheets or long message threads.

Tenants: your sign-in details come from your landlord.

The month

One month in the building, in three steps

Follow one flat's bill from the meter to the bank. Every line on it can be traced back to a reading, a rate or a shared cost.

  • The reading and the rate are on the bill, not buried in a message thread.
  • Shared bills are split to the paisa.
  • Where your agreement includes water in the rent, it is not charged again.
  1. Step 1 · Readings

Step 1: The owner enters the month

Meter readings and utility bills go in once, on one screen, with a warning if a reading looks wrong.

    Sample · Flat A-1 · meter 2,184 → 2,344 · 160 units

  2. Step 2 · The bill

Step 2: Everyone gets a clear bill

Each flat receives an itemised invoice by email, showing how every figure was reached.

    ₹14,292.00

    Rent
    ₹12,000
Electricity · own meter, 160 units
    ₹1,284
    Water · 4.3 kL metered
    ₹368
    Common costs · your share
    ₹640
  3. Step 3 · Paid

    Step 3: Pay, verify, done

The tenant pays by bank transfer and records it; the owner confirms it, and both see the same balance.

What it does

Everything the month needs

Built around how a small building actually runs: individual meters, shared costs, bank transfers and the odd broken geyser.

Rent and utility billing

One itemised bill a month: rent, your own flat's electricity, water and your share of common costs, each line explained.

Fair water-meter splits

Every flat has its own water meter, read monthly. Where your agreement bills water by use, the charge follows what your flat drew; where water is included in the rent, it is not charged again. Shared bills are split to the paisa.

Bank transfers, verified

Pay by bank transfer and record the reference. The owner confirms the money arrived, and the bill shows as paid.

Repair requests

Report a leaking tap or a dead geyser with a photo, then follow it from reported to fixed, with every update in one thread.

Your papers in one place

Your rental agreement once the owner has uploaded it, the identity papers filed for your tenancy, the house rules, and every bill and payment of yours.

Reminders

Bills arrive by email, and the owner is warned well before an agreement runs out or a rent revision falls due.

Who it is for

One place, two sides of the same bill

For tenants

  • See what you owe this month, and the reading and rate behind every line.
  • Your full history of bills and payments, whenever you want it.
  • Report a repair from your phone and see who is handling it.
  • Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.

For owners

  • Enter every meter reading for the month on one screen.
  • Bills worked out for each flat, ready to check and send.
  • One queue for payments to verify and repairs to answer.
  • Who has not paid, at a glance, and reports you can export.

Privacy

Your records are yours

A building's bills say a lot about the people living in it, so privacy is built into how the software works rather than left to good intentions.

Each tenant sees only their own records

  • Each tenant sees only their own records. The rule is enforced where the data is read, not just on the screen, and automated tests check it.
  • The owner's private notes on a repair never reach the tenant who reported it.
  • Pages are never kept on the device, so signing out of a shared phone leaves no bill behind.
  • Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and repeated wrong guesses lock the account for a while.
  • No advertising and no trackers.

Good to know

Questions

I'm a tenant. How do I get an account?

Your landlord creates it and sends you your sign-in details. The first time you sign in you choose your own password.

Can other tenants see my bills or payments?

No. Every tenant sees only their own flat's bills, payments, readings and repair requests. Only the owner and the building's administrator see the whole building.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer to the account shown in the app. Record the transfer reference, and your bill shows as paid once the owner has confirmed the money arrived.

How is water charged?

It depends on your agreement. Each flat has its own meter, read once a month. Where your agreement bills water by use, your charge follows what your flat used and the reading is on your bill. Where water is included in the rent, it is not charged separately.

Is there an app to download?

Not from an app store yet. On Android or iPhone, open this site and choose “Add to Home screen” from the browser menu; it then opens full-screen, like an app.
